Cabin Fever!!

Cabin Fever has officially set in!! Being cooped up in this little appartment for four days has made me hate it even more and made me even more ready for John and I to move back in with my parents come July!!

Poor Vegas hates the snow and the cold. He has spent the past four days cuddled up under blankets. Taking him outside to potty feels like such a chore because of how many layers I have to put on just to stand out there while he potties.

Needless to say I have discovered I am not cut out for cold weather. I am so ready for a day that is above freezing!!

Blog Trouble

I promise I keep trying to update with pictures, but everytime I have lately I've had some sort of problem.....

Why is it that once I figure out how to use something it has to go in change!!

Preston

Our close friends Shana and Matt welcomed their sweet baby boy on September 15 weighing in at 5.62 lbs and was 17 3/4 inches long!! The only problem was he arrived 5 weeks before his due date. It's been a rough week, sweet baby Preston has spent all week in the nicu because he had a valve in his heart that didn't close during the 29th week of pregnancy. Luckily medication was all it took to correct this problem.

Finally today Shana and Matt got to hold their sweet baby boy for the first time today!! I felt so special that they decided to share the moment with all us by texting us a picture. I wont show the picture for the privacy of the family, but it was such a sweet moment. I seriously wanted to cry, I knew Shana and Matt had been looking forward to the moment all week. The next big moment will come soon hopefully when they finally can allow their 2 year old daughter, Kyndall, to finally meet her new brother.

Of course they aren't completely out of the woods yet, but this was such a big step for their family. I ask for everyone to keep the Hines family in their prayers so they can bring their baby home soon!!

My bags are almost packed and our passports are ready for our delayed honeymoon!!I am so ready to go. We will be flying into Orlando on Saturday and then driving to Port Canaveral on Sunday morning to get onto the Carnival Sensation. We will then be heading for the Bahamas.

John has never been to Disney World, so we decided to spend a couple extra days at the parks. I plan on giving him the whirl wind tour Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom and Epcot all in a day and a half!! I let you know how it goes. See you in a week!!

1 month into the marriage

Yay!! John and I have been married 1 month!! I know people thought I would never do it, but I've made it a whole month without living at my parents house!!

The first week was a little rough. We had no Internet and no cable!! Let me tell you, I hated it!! Thank goodness for movies and even more so TV shows on DVDs. We watched alot of reruns of Friends,Boy Meets World, and Las Vegas and when I was home alone I got to watch Gossip Girl!!

Apartment living is not my favorite thing though. I am still getting used to a small closet, not enough cabinet space, and only having the one bedroom and the living room. The best part of it is the place only takes like and hour to clean!!

John,me and the dog a gradually adjusting. We took Vegas to the dog park the other day and he loved it. Although I really think he would have preferred to go into the "Big Dog" part. I swear this dog thinks he is bigger than he is!!

Sorry I have no pictures to post!! I need to take some of our cute 1st living space and I'll post those for you to see!!

First Post As a Married Woman!!

The wedding was wonderful!! Everything went off without a hitch and was even more than I could have dreamed of!! I truly had my "dream"wedding.



No one could get over how calm I was the whole time. I decided along time ago that I wasn't going to let anything bother me. The only time I really got nervous was after all the bridal party had gone down the aisle and I was standing there alone with my dad. I was the same way went I competed, I was totally fine until that 30 seconds when they called your name and you were waiting on stage for the music to start. John on the other hand was a little bit different, although he'll never admit it. He managed to fumble the vows a bit, he forgot to repeat after he minister once and we all got a good chuckle out of it!!



I've managed to steal some pictures from some of my friends facebook pages to share with ya'll!! I'll post my bridal pictures soon and some pictures of our "mini-honeymoon"in Vegas!! I get to go on our "official"honeymoon cruise in September!!
